how to make salted gooseberry, salted amla is an easy way to preserve amla at home for a year, no vinegar or oil is needed to make salted amla recipe.
Fresh Amla (indian gooseberries) – 500 gms, 500 ml filtered water, 2.5 tbsp pink himalayan salt, 20 green chilies (I used bird’s eye chilies)
Once bottled it will stay good for many months, keep the lid closed for a few days and use a dry spoon to scoop the amla. Shaking the jar once in a while also helps to preserve longer.
